Using this Blog format, I am not able to forward you the exact information I receive via email.  However, I can tell you that Casey Boyle-Eldridge, M.Ed, who wrote the YIT strategic plan for the Northeast Kingdom, is offering several grant writing webinars next week, from January 10-12.  If interested, you can contact her at 802-754-2611.  You might want to check out her website ( http://cbeeducationalservices.org/ ) but the webinars are not listed there.

Here are the resources I can figure out how to send you at this time:

http://labs.umassmed.edu/transitionsRTC/

Above is the website for the University of Massachusets' Research and Training Center (RTC) about transition-aged youth.  Click on the above website and then onto the NEW Tip sheets for Young Adults to find guidance about applying for jobs, accomodations in college, what happens to SSI upon turning 18, etc.  Also click onto the Publications section to find out about programs which bridge child and adult mental health services (VT JOBS is listed!).

http://www.pathwaysrtc.pdx.edu/

Above is the website for the Portland State University Research and Training Center (RTC) about transition-aged youth.  Explore this website to learn all about Pathways2Positive Futures.  You can subscribe to its monthly newsletter through the site.  (I won't be able to forward it through this Blog.)

http://www.tapartnership.org/

Above is the website for the Technical Assistance Partnership for children's mental health system of care grantees.  If you click on it and go the the newsletter section, you will see the December-January version.

http://ffcmh.org/

Above is the website for the national Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health.  Through it you can see the presentations made at the annual conference in November plus lots of other resources and publications!

http://gucchd.georgetown.edu/

Above is the website for the Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development, the organizer for the 2012 Training Institutes.  Click on the website for information about that upcoming event, to be held in Florida in July.

Welcome to a New Approach for the New Year

You can give thanks to Jesse and Courtney for new ideas about how to share information with you without locking up your computers!  Jesse said Google and Courtney said Blog, so here is the new approach we are testing.  Please let us know what you think about it!

I have gotten behind in sending out information about training events, research, and other resources so will soon upload whatever is still relevant for your review.  I hope to then keep you more up-to-date.
